How to Register on Hyperwallet in 4 Simple Steps
For those registering on Amazon, the process can be quite daunting, and part of that process involves providing a bank statement. Many sellers opt to use Hyperwallet because it’s an easy way to open a bank account in an approved country (Swedish bank accounts aren’t accepted) and Hyperwallet automatically generates a bank statement for you.
Hyperwallet is a trusted partner of Amazon, and you can rely on them. However, many users find that Hyperwallet’s fees are on the higher side. As a result, many sellers choose to switch banks once their sales volumes increase. That said, Hyperwallet makes getting started so easy that I believe it’s a smart choice for the initial phase.
So, how do you register?
Step 1 - Start a Registration on Hyperwallet
First, log in to Amazon. If you’re still in the Amazon registration phase, make sure you’re logged in so you can access the registration form.
Next, open a new tab in your browser and go to sellers.hyperwallet.com. You should arrive at a page that looks like the one below. If you’re selling on Amazon.com, click on "Login with Amazon." If not, click on the appropriate marketplace link circled in the image below and then click "Login with Amazon."
Step 2 - Fill in All Necessary Information
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be taken directly to the registration form (if you don’t already have an account). The registration process is straightforward, and Hyperwallet asks for similar information to what Amazon requires. Important! Make sure to enter the same information you provided to Amazon. This is especially crucial if you haven’t completed your Amazon registration yet.
Step 3 - Link Your Bank Account
Once the registration is complete, you’ll have immediate access to Hyperwallet. However, before you can obtain a bank statement or handle any funds, you need to link your Swedish bank account. This is necessary because the money will be transferred from Hyperwallet to your Swedish account.
Here’s what you need to do:
Go to "Add Transfer Method" and enter the following details for your bank and bank account:
- Currency: This will likely be SEK (Swedish Krona) for you.
- BIC/SWIFT: A code specific to your bank. You can find it by Googling or contacting your bank.
- IBAN Number: An international bank account number. You can get this from your bank. Again, Google or contact your bank for this.
- Remember As: This is the name for the account you’re adding. You can name it whatever you like, such as "SEB Sweden (SEK)."
Step 4 - Retrieve Your Bank Statement
If you haven’t completed your Amazon registration, you’ll need to download a bank statement. You can find this by navigating to Home → Deposit Account → and then clicking on Download under Account Verification. And there you have it—your bank statement. Easy, right?
This document is now ready to be uploaded to Amazon to finalize your registration.
